Overview:

This certification curriculum includes both the product implementation course and the platform administration course. Successfully completing the course content and certification exam will yield the user a Regulatory Change Management Product Implementation Expert Certificate.

Level – Advanced

Once courses 1 & 2 have been completed, please reach out to your trainer at [email protected] for the following:

  1. Practice Instance: MSU will provide access to a practice instance for a duration of 2 weeks.
  2. Facetime with Instructor: Collate all questions you may have on the course and send to your trainer; the trainer may host a dedicated 1hr session to address any questions.
  3. Assessment & Certification: You are expected complete the assessment in 2 weeks from the assignment of this course

Curriculum content

  • The MetricStream Regulatory Change Management (RCM) app provides a centralized framework to aggregate regulatory content from many trusted content sources, including external subscription data and freely available data sources. It provides the capability to triage regulatory alerts, determine applicability and impact to the organization and issue remediation. Level – Advanced Course Duration – 6 Hrs of Training Content + 4 hrs of Practice + 2 Hours of Q&A with MSU Instructor Course Completion Requirement – 2 weeks from date of assignment Pre-requisites: Familiarity with Regulatory concepts   Learning Objectives:  The training is focused on the features, process, workflows, and functionalities of the Regulatory Change Management application.     • Lesson Libraries/Compliance Repository

      Libraries/Compliance Repository helps you build and structure laws and regulations that are relevant for the organization or business unit.
    • Lesson Regulatory Alerts/Regulatory Changes

      The Regulatory Alerts/Regulatory Changes helps you identify best sources that provide feeds on ongoing regulatory developments and changes, for example, regulator websites, law firms, consulting firms, newsletters, and blog. Use the Regulatory Alerts page to review and triage alerts and determine its applicability to perform impact analysis.
    • Lesson Regulatory Development

      The Triage Analysts perform first level of triage, determine applicability, and set the scope for impact analysis for applicable regulatory or GRCIntelligence alerts. Use the Regulatory Developments page to monitor, triage and review regulatory developments triggered for impact analysis.
    • Lesson Impact Analysis

      As a lead auditor or audit manager, you can initiate different types of surveys to gather information about policies and procedures. To request for documents that specify the scope of audit, and to obtain feedback from the auditee to understand the efficiency of the audit process.
    • Lesson Regulatory Tasks

      The Triage Analyst assigns the survey response plan to relevant subject matter expert to document impact analysis response notes for applicable regulatory developments. The subject matter experts provide responses to the impact analysis survey. Use the Regulatory Tasks page to monitor the progress status of reported regulatory tasks based on applicable regulatory developments.

      The Issues module supports the identification and evaluation of issues as well as case investigation and tracking leading to an elaborate remediation or corrective action process.
    • Lesson RCM Product Setup

      Use the Setup page to set up and manage repository of channels (content sources) that allows you to monitor and triage regulatory change updates from various content sources such as RSS Feeds, Email Newsletters, Manual, Subscribed, and Structured. The Setup page is available for an administrator and Triage Analyst
    • Lesson RCM Product Configuration

      This unit covers configuration topics enabling you to populate configuration workbooks, updating LOVs and Data Table on forms and defining workflow parameters. 
    • Lesson RCM Product Administration

      This unit will enable you to provision, deactivate and map users to various roles in the RCM app.
    • Lesson RCM Practice

      Please reach out to your trainer for credentials to the practice instance before starting this unit.
  • This certification requires the following assessments to be completed:   Assessment – I: The test has 60 questions that need to be answered and you will have 120 minutes to complete the assessment once started. You may start this at any time before the closure date, however once started the test cannot be paused. Hence ensure that you have set aside time to complete this assessment before you hit the  START  button. 2.   Assessment – II: This is a scenario-based assessment that ought to be completed before the assessment closure date. Since there is no time limit, you may start the test right away and complete it in any order you see fit. Please ensure that all results are captured and filled before the assessment closure dates.
